With the opening of the Jebel Ali Free
Zone, AMCO took the opportunity to begin construction
of a new, state of the art, U.A.E. based blending plant.
This provided the ability to implement a global strategy
for the marketing of AMCO products.
In August 1988 production began. Finally equipped to
manufacture lubricants meeting worldwide exacting standards
and specifications, output of the plant and sales continue
to grow beyond expectations. |

Petroleum lubricants are predominantly
hydrocarbons that are refined from crude petroleum by
various methods, including distillation.
Solid lubricants include inorganic compounds such as
graphite, molybdenum disulfide, and organic compounds
such as metallic soaps and animal waxes. |
